Summary
As Christ met Thomas’s doubt with the wounds of His risen body in John 20:24-29, Panagopoulos argues that divine condescension continues to provide tangible witnesses to faith. The incorrupt relics of Saints Spyridon, Theodora, Gerasimos, Dionysios, and Joseph are described as vessels of the Holy Spirit’s grace, while holy water and other blessed matter lead the senses toward sacramental realities. Healings, votive offerings at Orthodox shrines, and the Holy Fire at Christ’s Tomb attest that Jesus Christ remains “the same yesterday and today” (Hebrews 13:8). Yet the quiet transformation of desires and conduct through conversion is no lesser miracle.
